If this is a thornless rose it could be 'Wartburg', a seedling of 'Tausendschön'. But to be certain I'd need to see a better pic.

Or possibly 'Roserie', which was sold as an improved 'Tausendschön'? Does anyone know if it still exists at that garden?

If it does, a close-up of the bloom may help - twisted petals, or white eye?

Patricia, I tried twice to reply to your comment with links to a photo of a rose at SJHRG called "Repeating Tausendschon Lookalike P-6-0", which is probably the same rose?
I was hoping you'd be able to search for the photo using the label as online search info, but that doesn't seem to work. I don't know if others can post comments with links, but I don't seem to be able to do so.
To view the collection of photos, you could search Google using (in quotes) "SJHRG by D. Giroux" as your search terms, or using flickr and SJHRG. The photos are arranged alphabetically by rose name, so "Repeating Tausendschon Lookalike" is on page 7 (scroll all the way down to the bottom to see page numbering).
The photos are good, and you might enjoy scrolling through the whole album. "RTL" does indeed have a white eye.

I’ll pass on that searching thanks Virginia. I was just offering a suggestion. You are on the East coast of America. I am in Australia. The rose is on the west coast of America. The file was opened before January 2011 with not even a colour added, only the distance photo, so with no community participation, the file might well be a piece of junk. It could well be "Repeating Tausendschon Lookalike P-6-0“ but it would need someone from California to tell us so.
