Bred by Kenneth J. "Ken" Nobbs (New Zealand, 1984).
Introduced by Unknown (New Zealand) in 1997 as 'Hannah Hansen'.
Class:
Rambler.  
Bloom:
Lavender.  Violet-blue.  Double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, globular bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
Blooms late summer (December) to March in New Zealand.

This rose celebrates New Zealand's oldest Pakeha family, derived from Captain Thomas Hansen of the Active.
Hannah King Letheridge (nee Hansen) was the first white woman born in New Zealand in January 1816.
