This comment by Mr. Pittao is absolute nonsense. Many roses developed by breeders initially had numbers to identify them, then named but not registered. The whole point in giving RR1 a name was to recognize its good quality and make it better known. Who wants a rose identified as RR1?

Both of my RR1 plants produced a second bloom the end of August. This may be an anomaly.
