Origin:
Bred by William Paul (1822-1905) (United Kingdom, 1893).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1897 as 'Princess May'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Light pink, yellow shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, globular bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  
Habit:
Climbing, few or no prickles/thorns.  Large foliage.  

Height: up to 39" (up to 100cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).
