I am wondering if folks who have grown both would consider this to be a superior prospective parent to its over-hyped offspring, Rainbow KO. I find it interesting that Star in recent years rebranded and reintroduced this one on in its KO collection. (Frankly, I'm surprised they haven't done the same with Carefree Sunshine.)

CS is superrrrr floppy, and for some reason dislikes heat until it is established. That is probably why.

I didn't see an issue with CC being a KO brand. I just wish Star let them major outlets know more effectively. I had to email Regan's to let them know what it is so customers didn't feel duped.

Rainbow KO is very small, and has various other issues. I think CC is superior in every way, except it could be a little more compact. There are newer roses that would be better suited than Rainbow KO is imo. Unfortunately, some of them are only distributed by very limited businesses, and ordering them online costs way too much for one landscape rose.

I guess Star Roses is re-branding White Out, Carefree Celebration, and Peachy Keen as White Knock Out, Coral Knock Out, and Peachy Knock Out, respectively.

Please see Star Roses site for any nuances in their names that may have been missed.

Space in-between each html tag to let it post. Remove space to use html properly.

So people will not be confused.

Thanks Michael.
I have added the synonym of 'White Knock Out' to 'White Out'. Even though Star Roses do not quote code name, the PP number is the same for both roses.
Added 'Coral Knock Out' to 'Carefree Celebration', both quoted as RADral with the same Plant Patent number.
Added 'Peachy Knock Out' to 'Peachy Keen', both quoted as RADgor. Unfortunately the HelpMeFind database will not allow me to add the same rose being introduced by the same distributor under another name, so I have had to leave out the introducer of 'Peachy Knock Out'.

Cool. People won't be so confused, regardless. Or end up with a second Carefree Celebration. I have ended up with multiples through the years, by things like this, so its good to avoid the frustration. See Golden Bouquet for details. Sigh! I have other examples, but the point is there, lol.

First season with this one. It has a nice color and fragrance. So far (beginning of June) it is disease free. I'm using it as a parent both ways.
