Growing this in KL, Malaysia in a container out in the full sun / rain. The plant did not let me down - very bushy habit and the thick glossy leaves take the heat and rain here so well. Plus, it almost blooms non-stop. This is exactly the type of rose that proves that roses can thrive in the tropics. I agree with @Kittyinthegrove below that this rose, sadly, almost gets taken for granted.

I do use fungicide (Aliette) so the leaves are textbook clear of BS and mildew. On the other hand, my Moonstone which I have given away could never stay clear of BS despite the use of Aliette. Once the plant is more established, I am planning to stop using fungicide or perhaps just use organic fungicides to see if it remains clear of BS/mildew, as an experiment.

This is one of those roses that is so good, so floriferous, so easy to care for, it almost gets taken for granted. Mine are in zone 8b and get full sun almost all day.
