rosa moyesii and it´s hybrids don´t grow very well in my garden. is there something tricky about them?

They are native to high elevations in western China, around 300 meters, so they like a cold winter. I'm in 5b/6a and they do very well here.

winters are quite cold here in austria (-15 C), there must be another reason. maybe the summers are too hot.

Nevada and Marguerite Hilling thrive in South Australia, which has hot dry summers (35C is reasonably common, and 40 not uncommon), so I don't think that's the problem.
