Bred by William A. Warriner (United States, before 1981).
Introduced in United States by Jackson & Perkins Co. in 1983 as 'Milestone'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep pink, ages to red .  Flowers medium red with silvery-red reverse -- opening to coral pink.  Mild fragrance.  40 petals.  Double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Upright.  Large, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Can be used for cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.  Requires spring freeze protection (see glossary - Spring freeze protection) .
