Bred by Anni Berger (1904 - 1990) (Germany, before 1979).
Introduced in Germany by GPG Roter Oktober, Bad Langensalza in 1979 as 'Feuerfunken'.
Class:
Shrub.  
Bloom:
Scarlet.  None to mild fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Tall.  Glossy foliage.  

Height: up to 4¼' (up to 130cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.
