Modern Art  A very different rose. The large, open, double (25 petals) salmon-pink and white blooms have dark red markings on the petals as though hand painted. Both buds and flowers are nicely formed. Colour softens prettily as the flower ages. It has reddish young shoots and upright bushy growth to 1m. Awarded Gold Medal, Rome 1984. Raised by Poulsen, Denmark; introduction by Swane's 1989.
