'Comtesse de Labarthe, Cl.' rose Description

Origin: Discovered by Lewis  (Australia, circa 1900).  Introduced in Australia by Royal Nurseries  in 1900 as 'Climbing Comtesse de Labarthe'.  
Bloom: Pink blend.  Flowers pale coral pink, fading to medium pink, darker reverse.  Strong, tea fragrance.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.   
Habit: Climbing.  
 Height: up to 13'1" (up to 400cm).  Width: up to 6'7" (up to 200cm).
 
Growing: USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).   
Patents: Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind). 
Notes: This climber was re-found not in Lismore as is sometimes reported, but in Sydney by  Sylvia Hannah.  Refer comments. |
