Just planted Jean Cocteau (Tequila Supreme) as a band from Heirloom Roses about 5-6 weeks ago. It is already covered with buds and blooms! Blossoms are a beautiful orange/pink with yellow at the base of the petals. This rose has turned out to be everything that I hoped it would be. if I am lucky, it will make it through a zone 5 Vermont winter.

Did it make it through the winter?

I cannot tell yet. We still have snow everywhere! Will report back later, probably in a few weeks or so.

I am sorry to report that although this rose did make it through a Vermont zone 5 winter, it did NOT make it through our extremely long and cold spring. So beautiful and blooming all the time. I will miss him!

Very beautiful, resistant and always charged with flowers. Near Michka and Pierre de Ronsard, in my TOP 10 roses. A must have, one of my favorites.
