Bred by Henry H. Marshall (Canada, 1974).
Class:
Shrub.  Parkland Series Collection.  
Bloom:
Red.  Flowers cardinal red.  Mild fragrance.  25 petals.  Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in large clusters, cupped bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.  Ovoid buds.  
Habit:
Medium, spreading.  Dark green foliage.  7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 3b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  
Notes:
complex hyb. of ‘Prairie Princess, ‘White Bouquet’, ‘Assiniboine’, R. arkansana (seed parent side) plus: ‘Adelaide Hoodless’, ‘Independence’, ‘Donald Prior’ and R. arkansana (pollen parent side)

Probably triploid
