I've had this rose for about 4 years now & it's been growing under somewhat adverse conditions i.e. in a pot & dragged from pillar to post with me as I've been in transit whilst building a new house. Nonetheless, it's a strong grower with great foliage which will undoubtedly be much better when finally in the ground. It also has great prickles!! The flowers are typical double rugosa, just like a double hollyhock in fact, with a hint of pink in the early buds, and a lovely scent. It hasn't set hips yet but this may be due to growing conditions.
