p13. Roy and Heather Rumsey, NSW. New Roses
Orchid Masterpiece HT. A unique colour of orchid mauve, deeper on the edges of the petals. At its best this variety produced some excellent blooms. It has pithy wood which generally does not make the best growth, but it did in fact grow about four feet the first season. It could prove difficult to transplant.

p22. Dr. A. S. Thomas.   New Roses in Victoria.
Orchid Masterpiece HT. (Boerner, 1960) Probably the finest mauve rose so far. Well formed, fully double, long lasting and fragrant. Often up to show standard and a joy to the flower arranger. The plant is good in every way.
