'Barspot' rose Description

Origin:
Introduced in Italy by Rose Barni in 2007 as 'Red Spot'.
Bloom:
Red. Flowers velvet red. None / no fragrance. Double (17-25 petals), cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form. Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season. Rounded buds.
Habit:
Short, compact.
Height: 16" to 2' (40 to 60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, garden or hedge. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. Protect tender new spring growth from hard freezes that may cause canker, die-back and death of the plant. . Remove spent blooms to encourage re-bloom. Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third.
