The rose 'Ali Baba' was introduced in Australia by Roses and Friends in 2012, not Wagners as shown by you.

I've grown this in zone 10 for three years and it has not done well. No discernible scent and flowers go over very quickly. Better points include the large quantity of blooms and the pretty apricot peach colour.

Despite its orange overtones, the 'official' colour of 'Ali Baba' (CHEwalibaba), according to the RHS colour chart, is azalea pink! It has a curious fruity tea fragrance that reminds me of nettles. It is always in flower, continuously putting up new multi-headed shoots, and is amazingly disease-resistant. One of the finest modern roses I have grown.

This rose is sold by Rosen Union (Germany) under the name 'Schloß Bad Homburg'.
