We are grateful to the many members who have signed up so far, but the number of premium-membership members remains too small for us to sustain the current support and development level. If you value HelpMeFind and want to see it continue we need your support too.

Yearly membership is only $2.00 per month and adds a host of additional features, and numerous planned enhancements, to take full advantage of the power and convenience of HelpMeFind. Click here to start your premium membership..

We of course also welcome donations of any amount. Click here to make a donation. Donations of $24 or more receive a thank-you gift of a 1-year premium membership.

As far as we have come, we feel HelpMeFind is still in its infancy. With your support we have so much more to accomplish.

Japanese Peonies
Aureolin (Shaylor) 8.9. This variety comes nearest, perhaps, to being the long-sought-for yellow peony. The center of transformed petaloids which is surrounded by broad guard petals, is deep sulphur yellow and holds its color well. Much of the stock offered for sale is far from vigorous, but flowers produced on well grown stock are very beautiful. A Brand Division $3.00.
Website/Catalog  (1926)  Page(s) 73.

Rare Single Japanese Peonies
The so-called Japanese Peonies are those which have one or two rows of petals and centers of stamens much thickened. These are almost devoid of pollen and oftentimes make a thick cushion of golden yellow. The effect is very beautiful and distinct and they continue to bloom throughout the Peony season. Although strong growers they propagate slowly and the stocks are usually limited.
Aureolin 8.9 (Shaylor 1917), a fine Japanese single of medium size with pink guard petals and deep sulphur center. Midseason to late. $6.00 each.
