Gardner Seedling List
We have been working on the development of Peonies since 1925 and have produced quite a number of varieties that find favor with visitors to our peony show—so much so that the bulk of our orders for peony plants are for plants of our own origination. All seedlings listed have been tested and proven for years before being offered for sale.
No. 15.—John Gardner—Bright red disc fading to rosy red with a center of bright red petaloids, each bordered with an edge of brightest gold. A fine landscape variety as it is a heavy bloomer and does not grow too tall. Visitors to our nursery always admire this peony and it has been our best selling variety during the past three seasons....$4.00
