Bred by Modeste Guérin (France, before 1852).
Introduced in France by Modeste Guérin in 1852 as 'Madame de Vatry'.
Class:
Hybrid suffruticosa.  
Bloom:
Light pink, lilac shading, white outer petals, red flecks.  Mild fragrance.  Average diameter 9".  Very large, double, crown bloom form.  Midseason.  
Habit:
Medium.  

Height: 4' to 5' (120 to 150cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 2a and warmer.
