Orange-red, white reverse, golden-yellow center, golden-yellow stamens. Mild, appleblossom fragrance. 18 petals. Average diameter 2". Double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, high-centered to flat, open, reflexed, ruffled bloom form. Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.
Short, spreading. Small, semi-glossy, medium green, leathery foliage.
Height of 1' to 30" (30 to 75 cm). Width of 3' to 5' (90 to 150 cm).
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default). Can be used for container rose, garden, ground cover or pillar. Hardy. vigorous. shade tolerant. Can be pruned to maintain a shorter habit.

The breeder's Reference for this rose is Morpapplay. The New Zealand Trade Name is 'Glowing Carpet'. This PVR Grant expires September 2, 2017.
Glowing Carpet was removed from the Auckland Regional Botanic Gardens (ARBG) Display Trial because its trial period expired.
