‘Ballet’/KORflot = Hybride de Thé… peu de roses à 50 pétales supportent la pluie aussi stoïquement… C’est un rosier robuste, de hauteur moyenne, au feuillage vert clair irisé de gris… ‘Ballet’, victime du marsonia, a vu sa popularité décliné. Kordes, Allemagne, 1958. RNRS Trial Ground Certificate 1956.

Ballett HT. (Kordes 1958) The German spelling is given as in the raiser's catalogue, though English and French growers list it with only one "t" - the Americans are not listing it yet. The colour resembles that of 'Mrs. Bryce Allan', but is a little softer. A fairly large proportion of the blooms split, but, when this does not happen, they are very fine though never huge. Excellent strong, clean growth.

Ballet HT. (Kordes, 1958) Clear, pure pink full blooms of exhibition quality. Growth is vigorous and clean. One of the loveliest and most shapely pink roses that we have seen for some time. A future star performer.
