Red flowers, medium height with glossy well foliaged plants. Wairarapa finds their bush healthy with some black spot late in the season. North Otago felt their bush was like a floribunda at times, healthy and very bright. Gisborne says the colour is fabulous. Otago finds it a good garden rose with nice colour and good substance. Average repeat. Gisborne describe the colour as lipstick red and also use the word fabulous. Otago says the colour is vibrant and the flowers have good classic form and last well. The good petal texture survives the rain. Healthy and rewarding. Makes a neat standard.

Blooms holding better this year. Otorohanga has a healthy bush with blooms that open quickly. Manawatu feel the bush should be a floribunda, a good garden rose bright and showy. 9 reports on 12 bushes; 1-2 years; 1.2 metres; 7.4 rating. The official New Zealand Red Cross Rose. Medium height with glossy well foliaged plants. Northland likes the rose, which has a good repeat. North Otago says although the bush is healthy, the blooms blow fast. Otorohanga likes its health and growth, its lovely colour and its quick repeat. Bay of Plenty says theirs has an abundance of flowers, but not true HT form. However, they see a potential for small stems. Otago like the colour and good form. Manawatu feel the bush should be a floribunda, as it always flowers in clusters. Large double flowers, totally healthy, and they would recommend it as good for everyone. Waikato like the bright colour, but say it can fade in the sun.
