Les pépiniéristes Borgatti de Bologne et Cazzaniga de Milan ont aussi obtenu quelques variétés par croisement ; le premier : « Giuliana Borgatti », « Lidia », « Rosalba » ; le deuxième, de « R. Moyesii » x « R. hibernica » obtint « Vanessa » et de croisements entre hybrides de Thé : « Sabaudia ».
