Leonie Bell believed 'Banshee' is the gallica 'Baron Louis' by Vibert (see references). Newer investigations (Stefan Lura and others) show that it is a turbinata identical to 'Rosa x suionum' in Sweden, 'Mustialan Ruusu' in Finland and 'Dornenlose Kreiselrose' in Germany.
