Japanese type. Pale pink changing to white. Guards very shapely, cupped and crimped. Staminodes long and yellow. Seed pods green, flecked pink at the tips. The striking characteristic of this Japanese variety is the cupped shaped guard petals which retain their shape until the bloom fades and the petals fall.
