Sierra Glow  (3 plants, 3 years). Low and very spreading vigorous growth. Should make excellent stándards. Large bloom of high decorative value and occasionally up to show standard. Does not hold its form long. Attractive shades of salmon, gold, apricot and pink. Worth while.

Sierra Glow, HT. (Lammerts) . Early blooms of this variety suggested a decorative type, but later flowering showed up to exhibition standard. The inner face of the petals is rich silvery pink with deep salmon reverse. Blooms carry 30 petals and are richly fragrant. Growth is rather low and spreading and highly resistant to disease.

Sierra Glow is another American, an extremely vigorous spreading type. It has very little pretence at specimen form, having too few petals. The old bloom is hardly full blown when the new shoots appear at the leaves below. It is between apricot and mid-pink. It keeps its colour well. I will be keeping all three of my plants.

Sierra Glow is a good decorative – a luminous pink, if there is such a colour. The growth is spreading and quite strong. I like it very much.

R. Marion Hatton.  The World's New Roses
Sierra Glow, an H.T. with rather awkward growth and very thorny canes. This bore four and a half inch loose flowers of satiny salmon pink with an amber glow and a warm pink reverse. It has 25 petals and a fruity fragrance. The flowers were colourful, but there were not many of them. I want to see it this year.
