I just love this rose and I miss it and although listed as "available" it is tough to get. Never really sold wide-scale or very long I do not think but as far as I have experienced/know, the only true purple/white bicolor. Plant grows at least in 6a bolt upright. Curiously the foliage is very pale green and not very glossy, there is no scent. Substance is tougher, disease resistance is in my experience above-average across the board and far above for the base color and era of introduction. Bought it first on a whim, impulsed buy at a garden center around 1988 and loved it for years.........in some ways it takes the Rose Gaujard-ness to a next level but is not as lusty a grower as Rose Gaujard albeit healthier in my experience.............
