Bred by Dr. Griffith J. Buck (United States, 1984).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.   (Series: Buck Roses Collection)  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Strong, citrus fragrance.  Average diameter 3".  Double (17-25 petals), cupped bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm).  Width: 3' to 4' (90 to 120cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 5b through 9b.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Notes:
'Silver Shadows' and 'Blue Skies' were said to be sibling roses. However the parentage is different in both roses.
