'Soupert et Notting' rose Reviews & Comments

While planting my roses today I saw that Ducher nursery gave me this rose as a present. I have many roses but only one Moss, Mme Louis L'évêque, which I really like. On their website Ducher says Soupert et Notting is extremely fragrant and "très remontant" so very repeat flowering. But on other websites and also here at HMF it's says "only scattered blooms later in the season". So I'm in dubio now

If you check the photos on HMF (date taken, not upload), they are mostly from spring. No repeat photos.

Okay Thx. Mme Louis L'évêque reblooms only in hot dry summers and even then with only a few blooms. But S&P will look stunning when in full flush.

This rose has handsome, fairly small blooms, not all of which develop and open properly. In my cultural conditions it has a scrumptious scent of the quatre saisons damask class, with less spice and more sweet lemon, and hence quite unlike r. centifolia.

Available from Rosefire.com, who state that this rose is hardy to zone 4 and does very well in their zone 5.
