Mine seems to be more winter tender than Artistry, its parent. The color is more dynamic, and the form is more open. BS isn't much but some on both. Not a lot of large-flowered roses in this color range available in North America. Both are good varieties, with their own caveats. Artistry seems to love the heat a lot, and Sedona changes color in the heat, which is interesting. Neither are particularly useful in their scent, like Fragrant Cloud, but both are better growers. Sedona is a more linear plant, and Artistry is a more husky plant. Fragrant Cloud is shorter than both, and a bit more prone to diseases, but the fragrance is obviously sought after. Sedona and Fragrant Cloud to have less prickles than Artistry, but Artistry has the healthiest stems between the 3.

Of the 3, I prefer Artistry, because it is the most consistent every year, and especially a heavy mid-summer producer when many roses like to take a siesta. However, Sedona is more interesting in a floral arrangement.

I hope this helps. I hope more in this color range become available in the years to come because there is not much variety for folks.

Jackson & Perkins site says it has a strong pear fragrance. Your post says none to mild. I'd like to hear from growers for their comment on the aroma.

In this case, the information on the rose page came from the registration material submitted by J & P to the ARS.

Mine just started blooming and I would categorize the fragrance as a medium, delicious fruity scent. This is a gorgeous rose, starting out a deep orange and fading to salmon pink. The stems are strong enough to hold the large blooms upright. In our garden showing incredible disease resistance!

Our Sedona has a wonderfully rich fruity fragrance. It is also one of the most beautiful flowers of all the plants in our rose collection. Healthy, vigorous, and generous with huge, long lasting blooms. We're going to get another next spring. Wonderful!
