Bred by Alexandre Bernaix (France, before 1897).
Introduced in Australia by C. H. Halstead in 1899 as 'Souvenir de Madame Léonie Viennot'.

Bloom:
Pink, silver(y) reverse, yellow shading.  Moderate fragrance.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Occasional repeat later in the season.

Climbing, upright.  

Height: 10' to 12' (305 to 365cm).  Width: 8' (245cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 7b and warmer.  Very vigorous.
