I find that it's very difficult to capture the colour of this rose accurately. This comes close. 21 Oct 2019.

The petal reverses.
There is only the very slightest amount of yellow on the nubs which isn't seen when the petals are still on the flower. The early references for 'Souvenir de Therese Levet' which describe a golden base or ground don't really fit with this rose. 21 Oct 2019. My garden, Sydney.
