Origin:
Bred by Mathias Tantau, Jr. (1912 - 2006) (Germany, before 1970).
Introduced in France by NIRP International in 1970 as 'Landora'.
Class:
Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  None to mild fragrance.  30 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Very large, full (26-40 petals) bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, upright.  Glossy, light green foliage.  

Height: 3' to 4¼' (90 to 130cm).  Width: 2' (60cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, cut flower or garden.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.

Fryer's Roses says Sunblest is probably the most successful yellow Hybrid Tea of recent years. This rose has superbly formed flowers of bright unfading yellow...
