Orange Van Gogh is a more red orange and is darker than J H pierneef. The form of the flower of Orange Van Gogh is tighter and more controlled. I can tell the difference when they are both blooming. I will try to get pictures of both for comparison since they don't often bloom at the same time. I will have to compare the prickles. The leaves are different---but then they are in different areas of the garden.

J H Pierneef and Orange Van Gogh appear to be the same rose, at least insofar as Hortico has them stocked. I have both from Hortico and they seem the same to me. Now whether this was a Hortico error or whether they actually are the same variety, who knows. But don't go buying both of them from Hortico, as I did, and expect to get 2 different roses.
Does anyone else grow both of them? If so, what is your experience?
