Bred by Tim Hermann Kordes (Germany, 2000).
Introduced in Germany by W. Kordes' Söhne (Retail) in 2010 as 'Black Forest Rose'.
Introduced in Australia by Treloar Roses in 2019 as 'Black Forest Rose'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Red.  None / no fragrance.  16 to 21 petals.  Average diameter 2.5".  Medium, semi-double to double, cluster-flowered, in small clusters, cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Rounded buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, spreading, well-branched.  Glossy, dark green foliage.  5 leaflets.  

Height: 28" to 47" (70 to 120cm).  Width: up to 20" (up to 50cm).
Growing:
Disease susceptibility: blackspot resistant, mildew resistant.  
Breeder's notes:
Very profuse flowering floribunda, grows like a shrublet. Its stable, shining flower colour and the attractive form as well as a very good resistance to diseases are the main characteristics of this new introduction.

The new variety of rose plant of the present invention originated from a controlled crossing in a breeding program of two distinct parents during the summer of 2000. The crossing was between an ‘un-named seedling’, and an ‘un-named seedling’.
