Rouge violet ardoisé très sombre; filets des étamines blancs dans le milieu des pétales.
Magnifique rose à effet, pour décoration. Floraison abondante en été. Pleine.

The description in Journal des Roses is until now the only hint for the existence of this rose. Perhaps Lambert gave one of his numerous roses, he introduced in these years, a new name for the french market.
