Dr. A. S. Thomas  Roses Overseas 1973.
Teneriffe, HT. (Bracegirdle, 1973). ('Duftwolke' x 'Piccadilly'). The number of good roses bred from 'Duftwolke' is amazing. Almost a bicolour, its very deep coral-pink petals have a paler pink reverse. The loose but shapely blooms have 35 petals. Vigorous upright grower.

E. F. Allen, England.  R.N.R.S. Awards To New Rose Seedlings In 1972.
Tenerife ('Duftwolke' x 'Piccadilly'). A hybrid tea, by D. T. Bracegirdle of Newark, with flowers of a salmon pink blend. I marked it highly in July but the wrinkled foliage may require protection against powdery mildew in autumn. Since Mr. Bracegirdle is an amateur he also wins the Torridge Silver Salver. Trial Ground Certificate.
Book  (1971)  Page(s) 166.

R. C. Balfour. The Northern Rose show, 1970.
It was encouraging to see the large increase in new seedlings from amateur breeders. Two shown by D. Bracegirdle of Kneesall, Newark, were selected for trial, both with strong scent and bred from 'Fragrant Cloud', one with 'Wendy Cussons', whose colour it resembles and the other with 'Piccadilly'
