Definitely one of the best yellow roses of recent times and more disease resistant than many. It's quickly becoming one of my favorite yellows. Unfortunately, it won't be commercially available in Australia until 2013, but well worth the wait!

Is it as bright as it looks in your photo Steve?
Do you have many other promising roses in your trial garden?

Yes, it is. It's a beautiful, large bloom in a real golden yellow, bred from 'Golden Celebration',
We do have some other interesting roses in our trial garden. One is CHEwdaybell, which is doing extremely well in the official trials in Adelaide, and we have a couple more Chris Warner roses which we have high hopes for. But I guess the most exciting is 'Eyes For You' (PEJambigeye), an hulthemia persica hybrid, recently released in the USA, which we'll be releasing in the next year or two in conjunction with Australian Roses.

Thanks for getting 'Eyes for You' to this country! Is it liking the climate? Is it too soon to ask what size you think it will want to be in a frost-free area?
Those hulthemia types are very lovely and it's always puzzled me that they are not widely available, widely grown here.

It only came out of quarantine at Christmas time (2010), so I wouldn't like to venture an opinion just yet. I will be sending budwood to Perth this summer (Peter Nosow/Landsdale Roses), so I hope you will be able to see for yourself in the near future. I will give you my opinion in November after its first decent flowering.
