Thanks, Patricia. We're trying to get some shots of the foliage for comparison. My impression is that the stamens may not be the same color.

Agreed. These stamens are quite red.

The flower looks a bit like 'Sunbonnet', floribunda from 1967 by Ollie Weeks.
Could it be a floribunda?

Based upon the way it grows, I would say it is a Hybrid Tea Rose.
Based upon the place where it was found, I'm guessing it is earlier than the 1960's.
