'Balilla' was created in 1929/30 (one of the parernts being 'K of K') and was first listed in the Ingegnoli catalogue of 1932. (Information direct from Sig. Ingegnoli)
I tnink 1932 was also the year the FIAT Balilla was introduced.

That's right. It is described as a bright geranium red HT, double, very long-budded on a rigid stem.
