'Snowdrift' rose References
Book (1991) Page(s) 62. Includes photo(s). The scent [of Veilchenblau] is rosy-sweet whereas Snowdrift raised four years later, has a scent of fresh green apples inherited from its R. wichuraiana parent. These two ramblers make a good pair and require the same pruning. If you have time, remove all the old flowering wood immediately the blooms have faded, if not, as soon as you can, and tie up the young new shoots.
