A lovely landscape rose in my garden. Flowers are charming, if not the showiest. Wants to bloom like mad, not picky about water, foliage is impeccable. One of the only roses in my garden that makes a beautiful Bush, regardless of flowers.

I love this rose!! That is interesting Ping revealed it was bred from 'Bonica'. Before I read this I thought it was out of 'Bonica' and 'Nearly Wild'. The foliage shape and some other characteristics of NW seem very evident. Whatever the other parent, it is a wonderful rose.

Bonica can be such a splendid looking thing in Southern California. If only it wasn't so addicted to crown gall here.
