This seedling germinated Spring, 2010 and did little growing or anything else to distinguish itself the first summer. The Fall, however, it has thrown a cane terminating in several buds and a terminal flower. Not a prickle on the plant and no signs of any fungal attacks anywhere. Beautiful foliage, very attractive sepals and an intense, sweet fragrance! I can't wait for next spring for this one to show off!
