    This rose here in Italy is an excellent climber, very fragrant and healthy! As Variegata di Bologna it has no real re-flowering.

    The discovery of the 1909 - 1910 catalogue of the firm Gaetano Bonfiglioli & Figlio containing the lineage of Variegata di Bologna clearly states that this rose is NOT a sport of Victor Emmanuel (see Comments to Variegata di Bologna). Thus, the revertions of Variegata di Bologna are not Victor Emmanuel and their photos can not be used to depict this rose.
