Notes:
Will Penn Adair Rogers was born 4 November 1879 on his parents' ranch near Oologah in what is now Oklahoma. He was part Cherokee. He died in a plane crash in Alaska 15 August 1935. One of his famous sayings is: "I never met a man I didn't like."
