Bred by Reimer Kordes (1922-1997) (Germany, 1978).
Introduced in Australia by Roy H. Rumsey Pty. Ltd. in 1981 as 'Aalsmeer Gold'.
Class:
Florists Rose, Hybrid Tea.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow, deep pink shading.  None to mild fragrance.  20 to 30 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), borne mostly solitary, in small clusters, high-centered, reflexed bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Bushy, few or no prickles/thorns, upright, well-branched.  Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.  5 to 7 leaflets.  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b and warmer.  Vigorous.  Disease susceptibility: very mildew resistant.  Spring Pruning: Remove old canes and dead or diseased wood and cut back canes that cross. In warmer climates, cut back the remaining canes by about one-third. In colder areas, you'll probably find you'll have to prune a little more than that.
