Trish Shaw, Otago. The highlight for me in my three years has been the support and urging of my Executive comrades to get the beautiful unique anemone rugosa rose that I own put into commercial production. 'Trish's Rose' is becoming commercially available through the work of Ben Pratt of Tasman Bay Roses. One of my life highlights has to be the visit to my garden as part of the National Conference by Peter Boyd, Greg Lowery and David Ruston. These august gentlemen gathered around my rose saying they will have to immigrate so that they can own it. It was so moving.
