Is this being sold anywhere in the world? It's just so stunning!

That parentage makes me very curious about how hardy it is (or more likely, isn't).

Girija, I was just looking at the pedigree of this lovely introduction.

There seems to be some confusion in the pedigree regarding the use of 'Carmosine' or 'Carmoisine'. I note there are different breeder codes for each.

It would be nice to get it sorted out as I suspect Viru didn't use both roses in his original cross with gigantea?

Congratulations. I'm sure both Cissy and Gene are pleased with this one.

Best wishes, Robert

Sorry Robert, indeed very sorry, as we saw your post only today. The variety used was Carmosine' bred by Laperriere, 1982.

Thanks Girija, hopefully we can get the lineage corrected as per your communication.

In this case it should be 'Carmoisine', aka LAPmiravi.

The 1995 parent replaced with the 1982 parent, LAPmiravi
