'Yellow Dog Rose' Description

Bloom:
Yellow blend, salmon-pink edges, ages to light yellow . None to mild fragrance. 10 to 15 petals. Average diameter 2.5". Small to medium, semi-double (9-16 petals), cluster-flowered, cupped-to-flat, ruffled, spiral centers bloom form. Moderate, blooms in flushes throughout the season. Small buds.
Habit:
Short, compact, dense, mounded, well-branched. Medium, glossy, dark green, leathery foliage.
Height: 3' to 5' (90 to 150cm). Width: 3' (90cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, landscape or shrub. Hardy. vigorous. can be grown as a shrub. drought resistant. flowers drop off cleanly. rain tolerant. shade tolerant. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant., very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.
Breeder's notes:
Breeding stock only. BS, Mildew, Anthracnose resistant. Will grow well in rocks and hard clay.

Notes:
Great rose! Further generations will have more continuous bloom and stronger fade resistance. It is, however, completely rain resistant.
